Like many artists, I am fascinated by the way light interacts with objects. I am intrigued by how it reflects and refracts off water, filters through leaves, sparkles in the air or creates ever changing colors. While watching a film or tv show, I find beauty in the shapes and colors in the bokeh background. The more I create, the more I see there’s a painting in everyday views. Many of my concepts begin with a connection to something I hold dear such as family, places I've been, or feelings experienced when staring at something of beauty.
